Attendance management
Shift scheduling and team rotations: a practical method
Fixed, flexible, split and night shifts, three-shift rotations, minimum staffing and weekly rest: building a schedule that keeps attendance figures right.
Hotels and riads
A hotel combines very different rhythms: front desk on three rotating shifts, restaurant on split shifts, housekeeping six days out of seven, night security on 12-hour shifts. Tempo’s demonstration company is precisely a fictitious hotel and spa with 36 employees: all these cases are in it.

Each department gets its own cycle: a three-shift rotation at the front desk, a split day in the restaurant (two services with an unpaid break), a six-day week in housekeeping, 12-hour shifts for security. The dashboard shows, shift by shift, how many people are present against the planned staffing.
The front-office manager, head chef or head housekeeper can be given a supervisor role limited to their department: they see and review their teams, without access to other departments or to personal information. HR keeps the overall view and the final approval.
Teams that keep the service running on public holidays have a cycle marked “works on public holidays”. Work on a public holiday or a rest day is identified in reports, so payroll can apply your rules.
Yes, if you give it that right: the reception role can add today’s punches (forgotten punch, lost badge) with a reason. Past days remain reserved for HR and management.
Not necessarily. Several terminals can be connected to the same PC, provided they are on the same local network. We study the layout with you.

Wrong terminal clock, rough schedules, untraced corrections, month-end-only reviews: the costliest attendance tracking mistakes and their fixes.
